Mumbai: Fashion, creativity, culture, and digital innovation will come together this November as Laska Fashion Mahotsav 2026 transforms Mumbai into an international fashion destination. Organized by Laska Fashion Modeling Pvt. Ltd., the festival will run from 20 November to 30 December 2026, creating one of India’s longest fashion celebrations across a specially designed venue.
The journey toward the Mahotsav began with the launch of its official digital platform by Shri Sharad Pawar, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and former Union Minister of India. Expanding the festival’s global reach, Sunny Leone will introduce the event to an international audience through her official Instagram platform, marking the beginning of its worldwide promotional campaign.
The festival will be coordinated by the Laska International Fashion Council (LIFC), bringing together fashion directors, runway choreographers, grooming experts, and seminar speakers from India, Germany, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Nigeria, the Philippines, and several European countries. Their collective expertise is expected to provide participants with international standards of fashion education and runway presentation.
Laska Fashion Mahotsav 2026 has been designed as a complete fashion ecosystem rather than a conventional runway event. The programme includes a National Fashion Show extending for more than 20 days, an International Fashion Show running for over 10 days, and a Fashion Expo that will remain open for nearly 30 days. Visitors can also experience cultural performances, entertainment programmes, fashion seminars, networking sessions, and interactive activities throughout the festival.
The Mahotsav welcomes aspiring and experienced models alike. Every registered participant will undergo three days of professional fashion training, including runway techniques, grooming, personality development, portfolio guidance, and industry seminars conducted by internationally recognised experts. The initiative aims to prepare participants for professional opportunities in both Indian and international fashion markets.
Models from different countries will share the runway with participants from across India. More than 12 international fashion choreographers and over 50 national choreographers will supervise the various fashion presentations, ensuring global production standards while offering participants opportunities to build valuable connections with designers, agencies, brands, and fashion professionals.
The festival will also showcase creativity through Designer Quest, an international competition inviting designers from around the world to present their original collections before an eminent international jury. The judging panel includes renowned Indonesian fashion designer Ivan Gunawan, providing participants with an opportunity to gain international recognition and industry exposure.
Recognising the growing influence of digital platforms, the Mahotsav will present the Social Media Influencer Award, celebrating creators across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, technology, entertainment, and other digital content categories. The initiative reflects the festival’s commitment to recognising emerging voices shaping today’s creative economy.
Another major attraction will be the month-long Fashion Expo, where leading national and international brands will exhibit fashion apparel, couture collections, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, makeup products, fragrances, jewellery, footwear, fashion accessories, wellness products, and beauty technology solutions. The exhibition is expected to attract fashion professionals, buyers, entrepreneurs, and visitors from India and abroad.
With international collaborations, professional training, designer showcases, influencer recognition, cultural programmes, and large-scale exhibitions taking place under one banner, Laska Fashion Mahotsav 2026 aims to establish a new benchmark for fashion festivals in India while creating meaningful opportunities for talent from around the world.
